Philippines Cybercrime Law Suspended

The Philippines have suspended a controversial cybercrime law passed last week, after the public protested the SOPA-like act.
The country's Supreme Court has blocked the law for four months while the pros and cons are studied, Agence France Presse reported.
The law has been compared to America's SOPA, which drew ire from the public online and in the streets. It was initially put in place last week to protect against Internet crimes like hacking, identity theft, spamming, and online child pornography, the Associated Press reported.

More from GlobalPost: Philippines: click "like," go to prison
However, it also made online libel a crime that could be punished with up to 12 years in jail, and "seemed to indicate that citizens could be arrested for negative comments toward the police or government leveled via Facebook, Twitter or the internet in general," Forbes reported.
Human Rights Watch's Asia director Brad Adams welcomed the move by the court in a statement, but urged it to "now go further by striking down this seriously flawed law," BBC News reported.
The Supreme Court is currently in its regular full court session, and set a review of the law for January 15, 2013, the Manilla Bulletin reported.

FANAA (indian movie)

Aamir Khan as Rehan Khan , Kajol as Zooni Ali Beg

Zooni Ali Beg (Kajol) is a blind Kashmiri girl who travels without her parents for the first time with a dance troupe to Delhi to perform in a ceremony for Independence Day. On her journey, she meets Rehan Khan (Aamir Khan), a Casanova tour guide who flirts with her. Although her friends warn Zooni about him, she cannot resist falling in love. He takes her on a private tour of New Delhi. They share what both seem to consider their first and only night together before she has to leave. However, on the day of her departure, Rehan slips into the train and, with the blessing of her friends, carries Zooni away, seemingly signifying the beginning of their life together. With Rehan's encouragement, Zooni undergoes surgery to reverse her blindness. Rehan leaves to pick up Zooni's parents from the train station, promising to be there when she opens her eyes.

When Zooni does come out of surgery, her parents are there, but Rehan is missing. A terrible accident has occurred, seemingly orchestrated by a terrorist group fighting for a separate Kashmiri state. The police bring her a scrap of cloth, which she recognizes as a sweater she'd made for Rehan, discovered amongst the debris. Rehan is presumed dead, and the mourning, guilt-ridden Zooni returns to Kashmir. It is revealed that Rehan is actually an agent working for the terrorist group and is to begin a new mission, vowing never to see Zooni again because their relationship can bring her nothing but heartbreak.

Seven years later, the terrorists are about to pull off a huge strike as a part of their plan. With parts stolen from India, Pakistan and Russia, they hope to build a nuclear explosive device. This device is capable of destroying a whole city and they plan to use it pressure India and Pakistan into leaving Kashmir. A critical part is missing though: the detonator or electronic trigger device. A still-living Rehan, who had faked his death to cover up his tracks after the accident (which he had caused), is to bring in this trigger.

Rehan has infiltrated the Indian army unit that is taking the trigger back to Delhi to safeguard it from theft by the insurgents. During a helicopter transport in a remote area, he drugs his colleagues, steals the trigger, destroys the helicopter with a hand grenade and escapes by parachute. A key intelligence operative named Malini Tyagi (Tabu) realizes who he is and deploys forces to stop him. He is nearly killed by the troops but escapes. Tyagi orders a communications blackout in the area so that he will not be able to contact the IKF.

Exhausted, wounded, and incommunicado with a storm building, Rehan seeks shelter in a remote house. He is shocked to find that the house belongs to Zooni, her father, and Zooni's young son, whom she has named Rehan after his supposedly deceased father. Zooni has never seen Rehan, as she was blind when they met, and her father had never met him, having not come to Delhi until the day of Rehan's supposed death, so neither of them recognizes him. The child Rehan is very taken with the man, whom he calls "the dead man" (and later, to Zooni's distress, asks if he can call him "Papa"), and the adult Rehan likewise develops an affection for the little boy. Later, Rehan admits to his identity, though he cannot explain what he has done for the seven years since they parted, or why he played dead. Nevertheless, he still loves Zooni and she eventually realizes that she too loves him, and they marry in a simple ceremony performed by her father.

Soon afterward, through a TV broadcast, Zooni and her father separately discover that Rehan is the terrorist for whom a manhunt is in progress. Zooni's father drives Rehan to an Army friend's house. supposedly so Rehan can contact the army, but when they arrive he tries to arrest Rehan. They struggle and Zooni's father falls off a cliff to his death. Rehan uses the radio to contact the IKF who tell him they will send a pick-up helicopter the next morning. When the army officer discovers Rehan in his home, Rehan kills him too.

Zooni finds her father dead, floating by under the ice in the river near which Zooni and her son are playing. When Rehan returns home, and tells her that her father is at the army officer's house drinking rum, she suspects that Rehan killed him. She takes the trigger and young Rehan to the army friend's house, and upon finding the army officer dead, radios the army. Tyagi apprises her of the seriousness of the danger, and the risk to millions of lives should the IKF get the device. She tells Zooni she will send an army helicopter to pick her up in the morning.

When morning comes, before the army or the terrorists arrive, Rehan appears, having walked all night from Zooni's house. He tries to convince Zooni to give him the trigger, saying that the terrorists will torture and kill young Rehan if they don't get it. Finally he takes the trigger, promising her that no one will actually set off the bomb ("It's just a threat") and that this is the only way they can have a happy future together. Grieved, but determined to stop him, Zooni runs out of the house after him and shoots him, crying "I love you, Rehan". Rehan's grandfather, witnessing the event from a helicopter, trains his gun on Zooni, but Tyagi arrives in time in another helicopter and shoots the terrorist leader and the helicopter down. Rehan dies in Zooni's arms as Tyagi lands.

The final scene shows Zooni and little Rehan laying flowers on the graves of Rehan (Sr.) and Mr. Ali Beg. Rehan asks if his father was a bad man, and Zooni tells him that he was doing what he felt was right. Rehan kisses his father's grave and tells him that he loves him. Zooni tells her son, "It is easy to choose between right and wrong. But to choose the greater of two goods or the lesser of two evils... those are the choices of our life," recalling a line quoted by her father near the beginning of the film.

Every Child is Special (indian Movie)

Every Child is Special

Starring: Aamir khan (ram nikumb), Darsheel Safary (ishaan Awashti)

Ishaan is a a playful nine year old boy. He always gets low grades. He always gets into trouble. It seems like he enjoys defying orders that his parents feel anxious about him.

One day in school, the teacher asked Ishaan to read his book, but Ishaan felt as if the letters are dancing and so he was not able to read the lesson. He was sent out of the classroom and spent the entire period outside. When the class ended, Ishaan was not able to do his homework nor let his test paper signed. For fear of being thrashed by the teacher, Ishaan skipped classes and wandered around the city all by himself. That night, Ishaan begged his older brother, Yohan, to write an excuse letter so that he will be admitted in his class the following day.

Ishaan was admitted, but they had a test in Math and he was able to answer only the first number but he answered it incorrectly. Later that day, Mr. Awashti, Ishaan’s father accidentally discovered the fake excuse letter and Ishaan’s misdeed was found out. His parents met with his teachers and his parents learned that he was not doing well in school and might fail again.

Mr. Awashti thought of a solution to Ishaan’s negative attitude towards his studies. He decided to send Ishaan to a boarding school. Ishaan begged and cried but it was to no avail. His things were packed and though his mother was against the idea, Ishaan was left in the boarding school. That night, Ishaan cried long and hard while his family went back home.

Ishaan’s first day in the boarding school did not go well. He was overwhelmed. His teachers were dismayed because he could not read and write properly. His Art teacher even hit him with a small piece of chalk and rapped his knuckles five times. Ishaan was very sad that when his family visited him, he did not even speak at all. He just kept the set of crayons that Yohan brought for him and he cried the whole night when he slept beside his mother. When his family left, Ishaan felt even more sad.

Then, a new art teacher came, Mr. Ram Shankar Nikumbh. He was playing a flute and he was expecting everyone to have fun in class. He noticed right away that Ishaan was different because the boy did not do his art work. Then, Mrs. Awashti called Ishaan to say they won’t be able to visit him that weekend because of Yohan’s final tennis match. Ishaan simply didn’t care anymore.

Meanwhile, Mr. Nikumbh asked Rajan, Ishaan’s seatmate, about him. The boy told him that Ishaan is new in school and that he couldn’t read nor write. Mr. Nikumbh checked out Ishaan’s notebook and noticed that the boy’s mistakes have a pattern, his letters and even words were either written backwards or in mirror image. He went to Ishaan’s house and talked with the boy’s parents and told them that Ishaan manifests symptoms of dyslexia, a reading and writing disorder that he, Mr. Nikumbh himself suffered when he was young.

In school, Mr. Nikumbh discussed about famous people who had dyslexia but were able to do great things like the great Leonardo da Vinci. Ishaan’s interest was caught. That day, when they were sent out of the classroom, Ishaan made a boat that sails in the pond which showed his innate talent.

Mr.Nikumbh talked to the principal and volunteered to teach Ishaan to read and write and asked that the boy be assessed orally while he is working with his basic skills. The principal consented and Mr. Nikumbh worked with Ishaan. One day, Mr. Awashti visited the Art teacher to let him know that his wife made a research about dyslexia to show that they care about Ishaan but Mr. Nikumbh told him what real care means. On Mr. Awashti’s way out, he overheard Ishaan reading the advertisement for the upcoming Painting competition. It was the first time he heard him read. In his shame, he was not able to show himself to his son.

On the day of the competition, Ishaan woke up and left early that the competition has already started when he arrived at the amphitheater. The contestants had so much fun. At the end of the competition, there was a tie between Ishaan and Mr. Nikumbh. However, the final decision made Ishaan’s painting of a boy by the pond the winner.

Ishaan’s painting became the front cover of the school’s yearbook while Mr. Nikumbh’s painting of Ishaan was the back cover. Ishaan’s family was so proud of him especially when his teachers told them how smart and talented he was, all thanks to Mr. Nikumbh who paid attention to the boy who once didn’t know how to read and write.

3 Idiots (Indian Movie)

3 idiots

Starring: Aamir Khan (rancho), R. Madhavan (farhan), Sharman Joshi (raju), Kareena Kapoor (Pia)

Fahran is a freshman in the Imperial College of Engineering. On his first night, he, together with his room mate, Raju, and the other freshmen were given ‘initiation rite’ by senior Engineering students and it was also the first time he saw an extraordinary student, Rancho, who was able to defy the seniors. Fahran felt trouble when it turned out that the guy is another room mate.

Rancho, however, proved to be a very good friend, helpful and loyal. Despite Rancho’s obvious passion for Engineering and his sanguine nature, however, the school director considered him a bad influence to both Fahran and Raju. With his subjective treatment of students, the school director called the three of them the “Three Idiots.”

But Rancho is far from being an idiot. Year after year, he sits beside the school director during class pictorials signifying his position as the first in class, a fact which annoyed Chatur, another student who is good in memorization and who vowed to see Rancho again after 10 years, to find out who is the more successful engineer.

Besides Chatur and the school director, Pia, a medical student and daughter of the school director himself, also felt malevolence towards Rancho, especially when he called her fiance an ass. But after witnessing Rancho’s chivalric and selfless act of saving Raju’s father from death, her attitude and eventually her feelings for Rancho developed into something special.

Rancho, though feeling something special for Pia could not reciprocate how she feels, a fact known to both Fahran and Raju. So, in one of their drinking sessions, the three idiots made a bet that if Rancho would be able to admit to Pia his true feelings, Fahran will pursue his love for photography and Raju will let go of his fears and face the world courageously. Rancho accepted the bet and on that catastrophic night, he was able to express his feelings to Pia and the school director spotted Raju on their way out of his house after pissing on his mailbox.

The enraged school director threatened Raju to expel him from school, but Raju begged him not to as his expulsion might be too much for his father. So, the school director asked him to incriminate Rancho instead as he was sure they were together the previous night. Raju, quite unable to repay Rancho’s kindness with treachery chose to jump off the building to commit suicide.

Raju lived and Rancho and Fahran, together with their friends and classmates, tried everything to revive him from his state of coma. They succeeded and Raju went back to school in time for the interview with potential employers. Raju, with his changed behavior and attitude, was accepted. Fahran, as promised to Rancho, told his parents his love for photography and his intentions to study Photography in Hungary. In the end, Raju and Fahran expressed their gratitude to their friend.

On the night of the final exam, Rancho, worried about Raju, took Fahran to the school director’s office and together, stole the test to give to Raju, but Raju refused. The school director discovered the theft and rushed to the three idiots’ room and saw on the floor the copy of the test that Raju crumpled, he expelled them on the spot.

On their way out of school, the three saw Mona, the school director’s daughter, suffering from labor pains and could not be taken to the hospital because of the flood. They took her to the recreation center of the school and, with his invention and compassionate nature, Rancho delivered the baby.

Their graduation day was the last time they saw Rancho as he disappeared and was never seen nor heard of again, until Chatur, while setting an appointment with the most revered scientist Pungsukh Wangdu, saw him on his secretary’s picture. So, together with Chatur and Raju, hunted for Rancho and went to his home, only to find out that the Rancho they knew is not that real Rancho but Chotte, the son of a gardener. Fahran and Raju also found out that Chotte studied in Rancho’s place so that the real Rancho will earn a degree and Chotte will learn about engineering.

With this discovery, they continued their journey to find their friend and along the way thought of Pia whom they know is still in love with Rancho. They arrived in her house just in time for her wedding. She went with them, however, and left her fiance.

The address they found is of a school, a school of invention and of various things they were sure Rancho would think of doing. There, they found Millimeter, a former errand boy, who showed them Fahran’s book of Photography which Rancho collects, Raju’s blog which Rancho always reads and Pia’s helmet which Rancho stole and told them how much Rancho misses them.

Rancho was surprised to see Pia driving towards him in bridal dress and was surprised more to see his old friends who came to see him. Most surprised of all was Chatur when he found out that Rancho is Pungsukh Wangdu, the scientist he has been closing up a deal with for a year now.

Untold Story by Sai Atizado

Naging kaibigan, hanggang nagmahalan
mundo'y pinaikot at hinawakan ang kapalaran
guluhin man ng iba'y di papatalo
Kahit kaagaw ko pa'y tatlo

Simple ako magmahal
pag ako'y niloko handa akong manampal
ako ang tipong handang lumaban
basta para sa ating pagiibigan

Natatandaan ko pa buwan ng oktubre
walang tawagan kundi mare't pare
isang relasyon ang nabuo noong nobyembre
kwatro ang petsa at taong may nuebe

Puro saya, walang takot
pero ang abril sadyang nakakalungkot
madaming lumabas na sikreto
dahilan para sumuntok sa pader na konkreto

Pero eto ako ngayon, tamang timpla
sakto ang buhay kahit may umaapila
Maraming issue, pero akoy pagod na
nais ko lng naman ay maging masaya

Sa ngayon, buhay ko'y tuloy lang
kasama ang mahal kong nag iisa lang
Kahit minsa'y ako'y nasasaktan
AW! di kita kayang iwan

Matagal nadin pinagsamahan
Madaming pagsubok ang nilampasan
Pagmamahalang walang katapusan
problemang alam kong may hangganan

Nais kong malaman ng isa dyan
na pag ako nag mahal walang lokohan
dalwang taon lampas na ang lumipas
pero pag-ibig ko sayo di kukupas

Naalala ko mga labi na hanep ngumiti
mga titig na nakakapagpakagat labi
mga tawang musika sa aking pandinig
mga pick up lines na nakakakilig

Para sa akin ikaw na talaga
malayo man tayo sa isa't isa
gusto man kita, ngayo'y kasama
pero ok lang dahil pwede na, pag tayo'y kasal na

Nagmamahal Ako by Sai Atizado

yon pala'y may mga kalokohang di nakikita

Konti lang naman ang nais ko
mahalin mo ako ng totoo
pahalagahan at alagaan mo
at mahalin ng isang tulad mo

Ayoko ng dalawa kami sa buhay mo
dahil ikaw! isa ka lang sa puso ko
tao ako di manhid at may damdamin
alam ko na naman, kahit di mo aminin

Naaalala ko unang pagkikita
puno ng pagmamahalan at pagsinta
ang araw na napaka saya
kung san sinabi kong ikaw na talaga

Nagmamahal ako
at kahit kelan di kaya itago
kahit ako'y nasasaktan
nandito padin ako para ikaw'y samahan

Sana bukas paggising ko ay ok na
ayoko na ng hinala at kaba
mahirap mabuhay ng wala ka
pero pag ako nasaktan, humanda ka!

Nagmamahal ako, at ikaw yon
Kahit di mo maramdaman sa ngayon
pero darating din tamang pagkakataon
na ikaw at ako sa habang panahon

Kasama by Sai Atizado

Madilim ang ulap
bitui'y walang kislap
luha'y unti-unting pumapatak
kasunod ng malakas na iyak

Ayokong mag-isa
nais ko'y may kasama
kasama ang aking pamilya
na syang aking ligaya

Sa aking pag-iisa
walang ginawa kundi magbasa
magsulat ng tula
kahit ang tema'y nakakaluha

Nakakabagot sa pamilya'y malayo
lungkot sa puso'y di maitago
ngunit walang magawa, dahil di pwede
kailangang magtrabaho nang buhay'y mapabuti

Di ko inaasahan aking makikilala
ang syang tunay kong kasama
di ko man sya nakikita
ngunit aking sya'y nadarama

napapawi ang lungkot
nawawala ang takot
mga kaba sa puso'y wala na
nagdulot sya sa puso ko ng saya

oo, nakalimutan ko sya noon
pero eto na ang pagkakataon
para ibalik relasyong naputol
sa akin ngayo'y walang makakatutol

isiping kasama mo sya
sa kabila ng iyong pangungulila
sya lang naman ang lumikha
bumuo sa ating katawan at mukha

marahil kilala mo na kung sino sya
Ako'y nagpaubaya sa kanya
mahal ko sya at ganun din sya
lahat tayo'y mahal nya

Kaya walang dapat ipag luksa
punasan ang matang may luha
ngumiti at wag matakot
dahil dyos natin ang papawi ng ating lungkot

Sarap Maging Bata by Sai Atizado

Naaalala mo paba nung ika'y bata pa?

at pag umuulan susuotin bagong kapote?

Ang sarap alalahanin panahong iyon
kapag tag araw, magpapalipad ng guryon
aakyat sa puno ng mangga
ang mahulog ang syang tyak na taya

Madalas kaba mapalo ng yong magulang
dahil ayaw matulog pagtapos ng tanghalian?
marahil nag sisisi kana ngayon,
sana ay natutulog ka nalang noon

Gusto mo ba ang pagyakap sayo ng iyong ina
sa tuwing di makatulog,at ikay kakantahan pa?
tapos unti-unti pipikit iyong mata
hay naku! nakaka miss talaga

Sana bata pa din ako
maglalaro ako ng tumbang preso
chinese garter at patintero
guguluhin si tatay sa pagkakarpentero

Nakakatawa panahong bata ka
nagagawa ang gusto at napakasaya
walang problema at inosente pa

Gusto Kita by Sai Atizado

Sa aking pag iisa ikaw ang naiisip
maging sa pagtulog ikaw ang panaginip
mahirap mapasakin ang tulad mo
pero ikaw lang ang syang pangarap ko

Hindi imposinleng mahalin kita
dahil umaga palang nakangiti kana
ang tinig mong gumigising sa akin
ang mga titig na diko akalain

Ang gusto ko'y maging akin ka
mahagkat mayakap ka sinta
nais ko'y ika'y aking kasama
kahit sandali nang ako'y sumaya

Nalulungkot ako pag ika'y malungkot
pag ika'y masaya mundo ko'y umiikot
di ko malaman ang pakiramdam na ito
basta alam ko ika'y gusto ko

Ayoko ng kaibigan mo lang ako
nais ko'y mahalin mo din ako
imposible pero bakit di subukan
nais ko lang naman ika'y mahagkan

Ang hirap ng ganto
abot kamay kita pero eto padin ako
walang magawa at umaasa
ngunit di parin ako nawawalan ng pag-asa

Sana dumating panahong malaman mo ito
nang di karin nalilito
sa tuwing tayo'y nagkukwentuhan
sobrang gusto kitang halikan

Walang magawa dahil ako'y iyong kaibigan
pero handa padin kitang ipag laban
kahit lahat ng ito'y kabaliwan
basta, pangako mong di moko iiwan

Alam ko magugustuhan mo din ako
kahit ngayo'y tawag mo saki'y loko-loko
Naaalala ko ang mga ngiti mo
na ngpapatibok ng mabilis sa puso ko

Kaya kitang agawin sa kanya
pero di ko gagawin dahil mahal kita
dahil alam kong ika'y masaya
kapag kasama mo siya

Anong sakit man aking madama
basta masaya ka ay ayos na
pero sana malaman mo sinta
pag-ibig ko sayong tunay talaga

Mahal kita at di magbabago
hanggat kaya, aking itatago
kahit puso'y nagdurugo
maghihintay ako, hanggang mahalin mo rin ako
